Lawson’s Peach Cobbler


The Yum Factor

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg


  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 30 oz can sliced peaches, in syrup (set syrup aside)
  • ¼ cup Pecan Yummies (for garnish)


The Yum Factor

  1. Mix together all the Yum Factor ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Drain syrup off peaches. Place syrup in a bowl with ¾ milk; set aside.
  3. Melt a stick of butter and pour into a 9×13 casserole dish.
  4. Put peaches in casserole dish with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle ½ of The Yum Factor mixture over the top of the peaches.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, and baking powder.
  7. Combine the peach syrup/milk into the dry mixture and stir until it forms a batter.
  8. Pour batter over peaches.
  9. Sprinkle the rest of The Yum Factor over the top of the batter.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes – 1 hour or until top of the crust is golden brown.
  11. Once cobbler is done, sprinkle with Pecan Yummies for a delectable finale!
